Long COVID Chronicles: Systemic Challenges and Communication Strategies
In this paper, our team worked with the Patient Led Research Collaborative on Long Covid to analyse prior medical activism movements and the current roadblocks around Long Covid Communications. Work was done for the Duke Science and Society Capstone under Dr Misha Angrist.
Senior Thesis: Social Identity, Partisanship and Anti-Vaxxers
In my senior thesis, I investgate the role of social identity and partisanship in the USA on vaccine beliefs and behaviours. I review vaccine hesitancy from a historical, psychological and policy perspective and propose a survey instrument to investigate vaccine hesitancy and social identity.
Hacking Disease: Glybera, Slybera & Biohackers
In this paper, I investigate the ethical responsbility of biohackers and the pharmaceutical industry in the context of the Glybera/Slybera incident. Published in Voices in Bioethics.
Comparison of Different 3D Printing Methods in High-Resolution Modeling for Epilepsy Surgery
Here, colleagues at Duke Neurology and I evaluate three common 3D printing techniques for paediatric epilepsy surgery neuro-modelling. Overseen by Dr Muhammad Zafar. Published in Epileptic Disorders.
